Good

We would definitely stay there...

Liked: The hotel was clean and comfortable. The food was incredibly good; they have a great chef. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Emma.
Disliked: Maybe there could be a more sheer blind in the bathrrom (Room 6) so that the room isn't so dark.

Very good B&B

Liked: Lovely welcome, and very accommodating staff. Tasteful decor. Comfortable bed and good shower room with stylish fittings. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast (perfect poached eggs) with very good coffee. Good powerful (and quiet) fan provided.
Disliked: Very little space to put or hang anything in the room. No fridge for fresh milk (we hate those little plastic pots of "fresh milk"). We were given a small jug of fresh milk in the evening, but it had gone off by morning.

Amazing, will recommend and come...

Liked: Lovely pub with great outdoor area and breakfast spot indoors at restaurant. Managers were exceptionally nice and nothing was too much trouble.
Disliked: Nothing to say here

A lovely choice for a...

Liked: We had a very comfortable night at the White Hart after celebrating a family wedding close by. Staff were very helpful at all stages and looked after us beautifully at breakfast. Food was delicious. Our rooms were very attractively decorated and the location is quiet . Beds were very comfy. I would like to return soon and look forward to visiting for dinner.

A comfortable and quiet country...

Liked: This is a comfortable, well-run country pub with rooms close to Alton. We stayed a couple of nights here to attend a wedding nearby. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully quiet and the breakfast (full English for us) was excellent. The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful in giving us information on local taxis etc.It would be a good centre for visiting the beautiful countryside and villages nearby such as Selborne and Jane Austen’s Chawton.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Liked: Great place to stay, lovely location, easy parking, staff great, breakfast lovely- rooms really lovely renovations so tasteful and staff so lovely.
