a very comfortable and enjoyable...
Liked: The food was exceptional. A good choice of dishes on the menu for dinner and all delicious.Breakfast was served by staff and not self service which was great. The staff were very attentive.
Disliked: we did not have a room in the main hotel which was unfortunate.

Exceptional hotel
Liked: Nice location in the centre of town, train and bus station nearby saved us using the car. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfy. We had a great night's sleep. There was a good choice for breakfast. Everything was cooked to order, so it was fresh. I especially enjoyed the pancakes. Staff were friendly, and
Disliked: The town centre is a bit run down.

Good location, patchy service and...
Liked: The location is good, + the check in /out staff were great. The room was spacious and the breakfast was good.
Disliked: There were not enough breakfast staff, and so one of the staff was quite short. The bar closed very early and we felt as though the staff wanted to get rid of us. The room was damp, smelly and dark. There were workmen right outside our bedroom door throughout our stay and at one point a van so we couldn't get out! The room wasn't in the main building so perhaps those rooms are nicer. this one did not seem to be designed to be a guest room. It was not worth the price, however the staff dealt with these issues very well and gave us a discount for our troubles

Excellent hotel, the brightest place...
Liked: Staff, room (mostly), food, drinks, atmosphere.
Disliked: Minor stuff in the room, the fire alarm

Great breakfasts
Liked: Near to train station. Comfortable room. Friendly helpful staff.
Disliked: Close to the church which chimes the time every quarter hour. Karaoke night quite noisy but finished at a reasonable time Cheap toilet paper.

Staff and hotel were amazing
Liked: Couldn't fault anything, staff so nice, clean and food greeatBreakfast lots of voice and freshly cooked.
Disliked: Bathroom door wouldn't stay shut but it was minor and we propped open with towel

Liked: Very central and lots of room with good facilities.
Disliked: We were put in Room 18 which was outside and adjacent to an area containing a table and benches. For the whole time we were there a drunken individual sat there using non stop profane language. It seems he had some connection with the hotel as he appeared inside at meal times. This experience detracted considerably from any enjoyment and the hotel management should move him on.
