A ok one night stay

Liked: Great location near to Oxford in a pretty village. Food ok.
Disliked: Needed some upgrading in the bathroom and room. Rest of hotel needs a refurb - new owners soon will be changing things apparently. Get rid of the horribly grey painted beams - they’ve been ruined. Not the warmest of welcomes - but the morning staff more friendly.

I would love to stay...

Liked: This was a last minute booking on a road trip from Hull to Cornwall. The hotel was full of character. The breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: No complaints at all.

Helpful staff and all very...

Liked: Lovely hotel, staff extremely helpful, we arrived early and the gentleman moved us to a room that was ready so we were able to check in, never experienced that before!! Breakfast lovely, freshly cooked to order another rarity these days. Would most definitely return to this hotel.

Superb

Liked: The hotel is in a lovely village with fantastic amenities on site - restaurant and bar. The whole building is very special so it was great to stay. Also, comfy bed and the whole experience - it felt quite private and tucked away.
Disliked: Shower could be better as well as the carpet in the room could do with updating. The staff could've been a bit warmer, too.
