Enjoyed it - comfy, quiet...

Liked: Lovely old building. We had a snug room which was good for our one night stay - hotel was very quiet at night.
Disliked: Takes a bit of juggling to get town parking sorted. One day parking was available at Lewes Trsin Station...most of the surrounding car parks have a 4 hour max duration during daytime hours.

Gorgeous hotel in the centre...

Liked: The room didn’t have a view sadly and was very expensive at £279 for one night. It was however cosy and comfortable. Best of all was the outdoor terrace area - lovely and spacious and with far reaching views. The interior of the hotel is divine.
Disliked: The service at breakfast was slow as there was only one waiter as they had not anticipated the number of early risers.

Liked: Excellent refurbishment of a historic building, fine view from restaurant.
Disliked: Loss of parking and swimming pool from the previous owners. I stayed regularly at the hotel over the last 7 years. In all other respects it is now very greatly improved and restored to a fine hotel.
