Comfortable, welcoming, accommodating and friendly....
Liked: Well presented, cooked breakfast with decent coffee. A good, robust pub with a nice selection of ales and spirits with the benefit of a courtyard beer garden. The White Hart is really close to the city centre with all the pubs, bars, restaurants and shops you could need as well as the Waterfront with Rockfish fish restaurant and the pub on the canal. Everything is an easy walk.
Disliked: It's a bit of a rabbit warren but that's part of the charm of the hotel. Beats a modern, identikit hotel any day. Will need updating at some point.

Disliked: Noisy bedroom door closures causing excessive door banging. Some form of dampening is needed as my sleep was disturbed by noisy people unaware of the noise they were making.

Liked: Comfortable bed and close to Exeter Cathedral. Staff at reception were welcoming and upgraded me to a double room.
Disliked: No wifi in room. Wifi In room is now considered an ordinary expectation. Service at breakfast was a bit haphazard and didn?t quite get what I ordered on second day. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

Perfect location, within walking distance...
Liked: This is an old property which only adds to its charm. The bedside lighting could be better however. It is very conveniently located near the beautiful Exeter Cathedral. I enjoyed attending morning prayers followed by a delicious full English breakfast. My husband was impressed by the selection of fresh pastries.
