Liked: Room was very comfortable, staff were excellent. Having been staying here many years now I did feel the hotel was looking a little tired. Maybe a bit tlc and decorating around the main corridors and won’t go a miss. Our room looked like walls and ceilings had been painted recently but the wood work looked very shabby and extremely dusty round the skirting boards. Wouldn’t put me off visiting again though, as we love the hotel, the staff and most of all the Fat Badger

All in all an excellent...

Liked: Been here a few times and as always it was a great stay the Fat Badger is an excellent bar
Disliked: The receptionist wasnt very helpful and looked miserable

Superb

Liked: Staff excellent, location excellent, very clean, food excellent.
Disliked: Room was a bit small. Usually get bigger bed than standard double in hotels.
