Great place to stay, comfortable...

Very good
Liked: Number 13 was nice and cozy, bed was comfortable, felt like a little apt.
Disliked: Bathroom including shower, a little to small, trashy trailers around back by the water, tv and cable didn't work

Very clean and comfortable
Liked: The inside of the motel was very clean! The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was cold. It had nice hot water too. The staff was very friendly
Disliked: Outside of property had dead bugs all over. There was a big hatch and they needed to be swept up.

Exceptional
Liked: We had a corgi with us. In Port Clinton, not many hotels/ motels take pets, and if they do, they are dives. This is such a homey place. A motel, so just walk out the door. Lots of grass and trees. People that stay there clean up dog do do. I can't tell you enough how nice the staff and cleaning crew are!This isn't a fancy place. It is homey! They have 2 chairs and a table outside the door, so you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or drinks. They have a big room with an ice maker. Tables that you can play cards or games. Laundry facilities. Outside, there is a horseshoe pit and corn hole.An open gazebo with slider chairs for 2. Bbqs, firepit, The room has a full-size coffee maker, so you can fill a thermos for your outings! It is really soundproof. We didn't hear next-door people, the busy train track or road noise.They have a fish cleaning area and a freezer to put your catch until you leave. A nice area in the back where you can fish off the bank or dock.This was our first time there, and we will definitely go back!

Disliked: If you go in June there will be hundreds of mayflies to contend with and the stink of them rotting on the ground is not pleasant.

Liked: The bed and pillows were SUPER COMFY. Was very clean room inside.
Disliked: The bathroom was incredibly small. It was at a rv/mobile home park. The park did look a little run down. But felt safe
