Tranquility and Peace!

Liked: The atmosphere was peaceful and I loved the private space! I had everything I needed and check-in wasn’t a problem. I would absolutely stay here again!
Disliked: The road to get to the property. I don’t have a truck or anything that’s heavy duty. So the road to get there was a little treacherous but it was definitely WORTH it! I had an amazing time.

Liked: View from covered porch was nice.
Disliked: Water temperature in cabin barely warm. Water pressure very low. Very rough, hard to access the "beach" area. Kitchen had basic supplies, but no can opener. Not a huge issue, but I forgot to bring one and had to leave to go purchase one. Be prepared as it is not that easy to run out if you need something unless you want to venture out anyway. No clear, safe area to fish that we could find.

Cool spot, super dirty though-...

Liked: Pretty location, our kids enjoyed the river and my husband enjoyed the fire table on the deck.
Disliked: It was VERY dirty. Upstairs in the loft it was clear that one of the beds had been slept in and the sheets were filthy. Hair, stains/spots, dirt, debris, etc. the main bed had three pillows that were dirty as well— stained, even one with what looked like feces or vomit on it, yet to be washed. The pillow itself, not the pillowcase. Big cobwebs in the living room, a damp stain on the couch, towels didn’t seem totally clean. Just a very uncomfortable experience. What was worse, is you can’t just have fresh bedding and towels without venturing to another cabin in the night with all the mosquitoes out. It was rough. My son opted to sleep on the floor. Also, all we wanted to do after dinner was settle in to watch a movie, but there was no internet. The person I could text with was very friendly though, she tried to help.

Not kept. Dirty. No hot...

Liked: Location - if it were maintained properly.
Disliked: There was no hot water. There was a number posted to call if there were issues during the stay , yet no one answered when calling. I left a message for them and they responded the next day after we had left the property. There was no beach or river access as stated. The property did not have proper maintenance on the grounds or inside the cabins as there were spiders and roaches. None of the windows were cleaned, nor the dirty front door. Roads to the cabins were muddy ditches the entire way. This could be a beautiful location if it were maintained properly. Will not be coming back to this location.

Amazing!

Liked: It was absolutely immaculate. Quiet and peaceful, there was some wild life but they were so relaxed. It was like we were just all staying together. The inside was clean and nicely furnished. Everything felt very comfortable.
Disliked: The road to get to the property is treacherous! Sweet goodness, I should have rented a truck or jeep. That was the only downside to the property. There were so many bumps and lumps, and it’s been raining so it made it even more of a challenge. But I can see a road being paved eventually so I think that’s an easy fix. Expensive but I think it would be worth it.

A bit disappointing

Liked: We enjoyed the outdoor covered deck and being in nature.
Disliked: There was no hot water, the couch and bed were not comfortable, and no privacy with the layout of the cabin.
