Bolt hole for the night,...

Liked: check in fine. location for onward trave was good, close to our route the next Day. Parking was plentiful.
Disliked: The room{family} 2 adults 1 teenager was pretty cramped. NO A//C, very warm, the small 2nd bed was not completely flat, and had the minimum of matress{sofa convertable} The bathroom, was very tired, taps almost rusty, tiles dirty, and the edges of the bath trim looked to be falling apart.The Pub itself, seemed to be manned by younf foreign staff, who had no conception of service with a smile.I cannot reccomend this property, and would not stay again.

Dissapointing and will not stay...

Liked: The staff were excellent
Disliked: The whole property & especially the rooms are very tired inside and out. We requested a move from Room 12 as the loo seat was loose, no loo paper holder, the fan in the room didn’t oscillate.So we moved to Room 8, marginally better but could do with a major refurb.This pub use to be packed on a Friday & Saturday but this warm weekend, lots of spaces in the car park & virtually empty in the bar/restaurant.
