Nice older style hotel

Liked: Nice older style hotel. Really good wifi and excellent breakfast. Friendly staff
Disliked: Parking is very limited. There is plenty of free parking on the street if you can find a suitable space. We couldn’t, so had to park about 15min walk away

Great stay - highly recommended

Liked: This is a charming guest house in a really excellent location. It’s about 15 mins walk from the Minster, ten from the station and there are several nearby buses if you don’t want to walk. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly . My room was very quiet and comfy.

Value for money

Liked: Nice room but the shower was in the bath rather than a cubicle but you could ask for a step up and hand rails if neededBreakfast was very nice, especially liked the Grapefruit starter

Perfect choice of hotel to...

Liked: Absolutely stunning property with immaculate gardens and beautiful rooms. We were so impressed with the decor of this entire hotel and the multiple, attractive lounge areas and bar. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Delicious free breakfast and free parking. Welcome hot drink on arrival
Disliked: We loved Wheatlands Lodge Hotel. It was our favourite accommodation!
