Overpriced and underwhelming

Liked: Good location for a weekend exploring Bodmin Moor.
Disliked: Many things in the room don't work, bathroom fan, shower head kept flying off, broken window doesn't open the handle just spins, no where to hang cloths with the two sainsbury plastic flimsy sad little hangers, dirty tea tray covered in dust and hairs, single towel hook broken, bugs on the floor by the toilet, cheap tatty see through paint job smeared over dirty walls, paper thin walls, shabby worn carpets, disruptive green ceiling light flashing all night, dirty bar area, filthy floor. Prices are wildly over ambitious. Not a recommended experience.

Very good

Liked: The view is something to die for and one would just remember the sweeping views from the room and from the car park. The beds were exceptionally clean and comfortable and it felt like a lull to sleep listening to pitter-patter of rain drops on the roof.
Disliked: The bathrooms were not clean at all and given the fact that the shared bathrooms were used by more than 7 rooms which in full occupancy amounts to at least 14 people, they should be cleared more frequently. Every day at least one toilet was clogged, and one toilet had no lock on its door. That amounts to only one functioning toilet for 8 people(men). This leaves much to be desired!

Short family break in Cornwall

Liked: Staff was great, friendly and welcoming. Location was very good as allowed us to visit nearby sites. We haven't tried the breakfast, only had dinner on Sun , the food we tried was excellent. We stayed in a glamping pod, good size for the 3 of us. I would definitely come back and recommend it to family and friends at least.

Liked: Perfectly located on top of the hill just outside Pensilva with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Very comfortable room and facilities with extremely helpful and friendly staff. Exceptional customer service with excellent breakfast and food. Superb location for the outdoor enthusiast.
Disliked: Access drive from main road has a few potholes which will no doubt be filled by the Spring/Summer, however if care is taken should not create any problems for competent drivers or their vehicles.
