Passable
Liked: Good location for the Euro Tunnel.
Disliked: Needs updating, smelly room with sticky carpet. Noisy.

Superb
Liked: It was a competitive price, excellent overnight stay , really handy for both ferry and shuttle and a really nice area, comfortable bed and nice shower, welcoming staff, and a really nice affordable breakfast. Will definitely be using again.

We enjoyed our stay
Liked: We enjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly and helpful
Disliked: We didn't realise there would be quite so many stairs. Not very practical for my 88 year old husband! I would have liked somewhere to hang the bath towels.

For a very short overnight...
Liked: Good location for the Eurotunnel. Very friendly staff.
Disliked: The room is tired. Obviously an old property but needs an update. The toilet/shower is in what feels like a cupboard. Very small and dated. On road parking. We had to park 2 streets away.

We would return tomorrow!
Liked: Fantastic location, discount at sister restaurant for meals, friendly staff, spacious room
Disliked: There were blinds in the bedroom which did not line up so we woke up very early, but it didn't put us off. Take an eye mask if you wake up when there is light.

Adequate for a stop over...
Liked: Located behind The Leas in Folkestone where it’s easy to walk into town. Parking (permit which you pay for) is easy.
Disliked: We were allocated a room almost at the top of the property and my arthritic knee suffered really badly from climbing all those stairs on a repeated basis. The shower & loo were pretty much located in a cupboard! But we didn’t pay an extortionate rate for our stay so the old adage of ‘you get what you pay for’ applies.
