Very poor

Liked: Worst hotel i have stayed in in years , run down dingy with depressing rooms
Disliked: Noisy school prom till midnight , tired run down room.Al least the staff were pleasant.

Liked: In poor disrepair.Staff great
Disliked: Paper peeling off around window with considerable mould. Bed extremely uncomfortable with cheap lumpy pillows and old cushions. Parking ok, but around the back needs resurfacing so be careful. Blocked sink.Very dated.For £100 per night way overpriced and no breakfast which I noticed was very basic.I booked 2 nights, left after 1 due to all the above.

Liked: The hotel was cool being 500 years old, but the mattress could have been much more comfortable. Also the could use some updating and be less musty smelling.
Disliked: That staff was nice and helpful .

Liked: Lovely hotel, staff all very friendly. Slight issue with shower that was immediately sorted. I will be back.

Beautiful grounds, gardens and surroundings...

Liked: the location and the grounds were wonderful. The shower in the room was quite new and the bed linens were clean.
Disliked: The room was shabby. There was a bad smell in the bathroom and no way to open the window. There was no soundproofing so I could hear all the neighbouring rooms. Breakfast was limited. Scrambled eggs took 30 minutes to arrive, but were well cooked.
