Comfortable hotel with excellent breakfast...

Liked: Beautiful building. Very comfortable bed. Excellent sleep. Arrived too late for hot food but a very kind receptionist organised us soup and sandwiches. Everyone very kind especially as our two miniature dachshunds weren’t the quietist!!
Disliked: The shower didn’t run hot so we both had to settle for a cold shower but I suppose that meant it woke me up ready for another long drive.

Lovely location, very peaceful.

Disliked: Looking a little worse for wear round the back. Poor/no A/C or working extraction in shower room.

I love the fact that...

Liked: It feels so special despite being a motorway service station. It feel luxurious and I soooooo love the fact that I can stay with my dogs and we are not shoved in a corner. The rooms for pets are still nice please keep these up to date. And the dinning area is also fabulous where dogs can go.
Disliked: It was a great shame that the service station has lost its dog friendly indoor seating, I know you say it’s because of difficult dogs but it’s wrong to penalise all dogs and dog owners because of some. It should have a dogs owners and dogs will be asked to leave if they misbehave section. I use to love the fact that there was a large indoor section North bound Tebay was my favourite because of this.
