Awful quality and disgusting hotel

Disliked: I chose this hotel because I have always had great experiences at Westin properties, they have always been cleanly and the service has been amazing. I was extremely disappointed with this stay. The lobby was very humid and smelled strongly of mildew. The room itself had lots of mildew and black mold in the bathroom. There was chewing gum and toilet paper hanging from the ceiling (pictured). There was a dirty bandaid in the floor (pictured). And BLOOD STAINS on the comforter (pictured). A literal biohazard making it impossible to sleep in that particular bed. I notified the front desk at check in, the next morning, and at check out and despite being reassured each time that the room would be cleaned and the comforter changed, nothing was ever done about any of the problems. Extremely disappointed at the quality and cleanliness.

Disliked: Shower hanger was hanging down — loose. Drooping about 3-4 inches. There was also a desk chair with a bent leg that could collapse if a heavy person sat in it. We did tell them after our first night of a two night stay. They said about checking while we were out --but everything was the same when we got back. Here is my complaint, it didn’t seem like the hotel was full, so why put someone in a room with these issues? Anyone cleaning the room would’ve known about the leg and the shower curtain. With everything else that was going for the place. This was just rather surprising, and a bit confusing-- that they would let this kind of maintenance go and especially put people in a room that needed repairs.

Liked: The hotel was very nice, spacious, and beautiful. The smell of tea tree was delectable! The food and drinks from the bar downstairs were great! The beds were extremely comfortable and we loved the former pillows that don’t just swallow your head and face, haha! The room was very spacious, with adequate lighting and very clean room and bathroom!We loved the easy check in and check out process, and everything in our stay was seamless. We even received 2 extra bottles of water free of charge from front desk, just in time for our midnight snack, after a long day!
Disliked: There were just a couple of things that could have been better during our stay:- the bathroom doesn’t have a fan and the type of bathroom door that we had doesn’t provide enough privacy.- the smart TV only had three apps available, and that was not enough for us - the dry snack wall downstairs did not have enough options to choose from I. My opinion… people might choose to go to nearby local stores to get more variety - if the valet parking was not double the price of self parking, more people will use it- make it $15 and I guarantee that most patrons will choose that over the self park
