Wonderful hotel in amazing location

Liked: The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect just below Central Park and next to a subway station, the room was a great size and very clean, the breakfast was good and the staff were wonderful. The evening tapas and drinks that are included in the cost are a great addition and many evenings we just had that as our main dinner. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody and I look forward to staying here again next time I'm in New York. Thank you!

In my opinion, the price...

Liked: The location was excellent - close to Central Park, theaters, and other attractions. The only real advantage of this hotel is its location.
Disliked: The rooms were quite dirty, with worn-out furniture and no recent renovations. There were bundles of laundry lying in the hallways.The breakfasts were poor — we tried them once and couldn’t bring ourselves to go again. Every request was met with, “We don’t provide that.” No kettle or dishes in the room, and you have to fetch drinking water yourself.Overall, we were disappointed with the hotel choice for our first trip to New York.
