Disliked: The staff were sullen didnt make conversation. The room was a family room when id asked or tjought id booked a twin. The breakfast was mediocre

Liked: Good vfm to be fair and clean , would stay again but not a room on the main road
Disliked: Would have preferred a room at the back of the hotel , my room was at the front overlooking the main road which was a tad noisy , and people letting their doors slam shut instead of closing them quietly

Liked: Initially booked 2 rooms,one for myself and one for my brother. It appeared very cheap but location was ideal near the tower. Only on looking through booking did I realise it also included breakfast. Breakfast was choice of cereal,then full English breakfast,finishing with as much toast as needed. Orange juice and tea,coffee made it a great breakfast. The rooms themselves were comfy and value for money
Disliked: All that I expected was done very well so I cannot think of anything that could have been done better

Good location but not welcoming

Liked: The location was great. The rooms were spacious.
Disliked: I get the feeling it may have changed hands due to all the good reviews about hospitality. When we got there, the lady I spoke to didn't speak English and went to get a young man...he was very hesitant and unwelcoming. I had to ask him to carry my case up the stairs. The breakfast was ok but the sausage and hash brown weren't very nice. My eldest son and I both got bitten (fleas?) and my husband and I returned to our room one night to find the window open and the TV on...we had a do not disturb tag on the door and this wasn't us so someone had been in our room!
