Westhill Country Hotel

Good

Liked: nice garden, outdoor pool, plenty of free parking, friendly staff
Disliked: it's all a bit dated: rusty drain in a bathtub, no ac, no USB charge points, having to book a table for dinner and then having someone escort you to a table of their choosing. the food is ok, but unimaginative: BBQ was underseasoned and accompanying salad bar was bland and mayo based and everything served on 1990s plain white hotel crockery. different person at reception every day so requests get lost (I had asked for an early breakfast before my stay, again upon check-in and the evening before I left and still the restaurant manager had no idea that we were coming). it's ok, but it's no longer worth three stars or the price tag of the rooms.

Over priced and quite shabby

Liked: The pool was quite nice but mostly too crowded for a proper swim. The hot tubs did not appear to be in operation which was disappointing.
Disliked: The breakfast was really poor. The rooms were tiny and not very comfortable. The whole hotel is in need of a face lift.

Liked: Great pool (but needed to be heated as advertised). Very caring and friendly staff.
Disliked: Outdated rooms and low pressure showers. No AC. Limited breakfast options.

Exceptional

Liked: I love the grounds and the swimming pool with bar. The hotel is welcoming and the staff are very friendly.. I have stayed before and will be back again next year when visiting family. Great weekend barbecue.
Disliked: Bathroom a little small but functional all the same. A washing line over bath to hang wet swimming gear is suggested. It helps to have a car but there is a shuttle bus to St Helier in the mornings. .

Liked: The whole experience was relaxing . All polite , fantastic food and service
Disliked: Not used to a single bed so struggled it was very warm but they did supply a fan

Liked: Short stay but it was beautiful and peaceful. Pool and hit tub was good . Staff was amazing . Hospitality to the finest. Our waiter Miquel was exceptionally helpful and polite.
