Western Hotel & Executive Suites

Lovely apartment, but very loud.

Liked: The room itself was fantastic. It was basically a 1 bdrm apartment, complete with small kitchen. The 'living room' was very large and the bed was huge. Everything was very clean. The wifi works and has a decent connection.It's also very close to a dozen or more places to eat, and more if you don't mind walking around the block. You're right in the middle of downtown, so everything you could possibly need is within a 10 minute walk of you.
Disliked: The air-conditioner in that unit is in desperate need of repair or replacement. It quite literally sounds like a jet turbine engine spooling up. It's extremely loud. The choice was to turn it off and suffer the heat, or leave it on just long enough to cool the place down, but not sleep.The rest of the noise is not something the hotel can really do anything about. It's attached to, and above, a bar that blasted music until 1am on Sunday night. You're also dealing with the local kits racing up and down the street in front of the hotel in their crappy cars that sound like they have model airplane engines in them.The unit has two TV's and neither worked. Both just said they couldn't connect to the network. So if you want Netflix, or similar, before bed, bring a laptop.
