Liked: We had a small but very cosy room. It had a great view out of a big window. Although on a main street it was totally silent. The hosts Paul and Hilary were absolutely lovely and gave us a warm welcome and soma great talks in the morning. Breakfast was also really good and because it was included, my wife and me concluded that it had so far the best value for money.

Disliked: Well, the check in time is very narrow 1600-1700. Breakfast similarly is strictly 0800-0900.

Liked: My Mum and I had a very comfortable stay here. Our room was spacious with plenty of storage. The beds were very comfortable with crisp bedding! It was like being at home! We liked the added touch of homemade biscuits and cake leftevery day in our room. Breakfast was fabulous with lots to choose from and all freshly prepared!What a beautiful property! We were looked after impeccably!Thank you Hilary and Paul for a lovely couple of days!

Wonderful place to stay with...

Liked: The breakfast was excellent, hosts were lovely people who looked after us well. Easy bus ride into York from just down the road.
Disliked: Bed was slightly low and the wooden frame caught our legs when getting in and out, a topper would improve this but it wasn't a major issue.
