Disappointed and not what we...

Liked: The concept of the hotel and checking in was good and very straight forward.
Disliked: However our room and experience had much to be desired. The room was cramped for 2 people in what they call a 'deluxe' suite. There was dirt on the walls near the table. The shower and sink were blocked and took a very long time to drain, which left a sewage smell in the small cramped shower room. When the shower room/toilet door is closed you can't bend down enough to brush your teeth or wash your face. There was an ironing board with no iron. The mattress was far too soft and lumpy leaving me with sore back muscles. We were on ground floor and the noise from people above, next door and in the alleyway was unbearable leaving us with very little sleep.

Third time staying so that...

Liked: Convenience for the event I was attending
Disliked: The beds were not v comfortable

Liked: Clean, large and comfortable room, well equipped kitchenette.
Disliked: Breakfast spread could be nicer, simple coffee machine would make huge difference

Everything great, except temperature in...

Liked: Really nice room, great location, helpful and attentive staff.
Disliked: Absolutely boiling at night, even with the fan on, we just could not sleep due to the heat

Liked: Free parking,kitchen,microwave,fridge and fan in the room.comfortable bed and very clean.
Disliked: Someone playing loud music in the gym at 2am.

Ok for a cheap city...

Liked: The staff were very polite and helped me when I had an issue trying to check in using the self check in which wasn’t working correctly.Breakfast is convenient and can grab to take out with you as everything is individually wrapped and package.The rooms are adequate and have everything you need and it’s around a 5/10 min walk from East Croydon train station, perfect into the centre of London for all tourist attractions and connections. Great selection in the onsite shop, very clean through out, overall not bad but needs some improvements
Disliked: The rooms are very compact, I stayed in the deluxe studio and I was a little disappointed as it felt quite basic and not portrayed in the images that are online. The walls are very thin. I didn’t sleep great due to other guests coming in and out talking. In what sounded like next to the bed. Also the mattress was uncomfortable but this maybe down to personal preference rather than the bed itself. I had an Issue with the water in the shower, this took ages to drain so you couldn’t stay in to long before the tray flooded over into the bathroom. Overall though ok for a cheap city break

Liked: Fairly large room, although quite impersonal and barren. We did not use the mini kitchen. Clean room and building - no fault here. Clean but small bathroom. Nice lady at reception who remembers your name, quite impressive. Also helped out with the offsite parking in a friendly manner. In the end I could park the car up front without cost (we took the train into the city). 15-min walk to the train station with lots of trains to take you directly to e.g. Victoria. (Trains are very expensive though, but that's not on the hotel of course).
Disliked: Breakfast was very basic, but I was prewarned and did not expect anything else. Cleaning during breakfast could perhaps be avoided: chemical smells and noisy vacuum - not a good match with food.The room was quite hot. There is airco in the little hallway, but god knows why as this obviously cannot go to the rooms.Quite a lot of noise as from early morning as there were works going on. And noise until late evening from other guests.Bed matttresses urgenly need replacing as we could feel the springs in our backs. Same with the pillows, very lumpy.We took the train to and from the city, the area around the hotel was perhaps a bit run down and did not always feel safe. But that could just be on us as we are from "the countryside".
