Liked: Walking distance to East Croydon Station, has own mini shop in office, staff was lovely met a lady at reception this time.She was prepared for my early check-in due to meeting.Room was tidy and kept clean, just what was needed on this trip though short.
Disliked: I could not get breakfast to go as departed at 05:30 am, but it was fine.

Misleading listing and a poor...

Disliked: I booked this apartment based on the pictures and information on the listing, but the reality was completely different and disappointing. First, upon booking, they requested a £200 deposit which was never mentioned anywhere in the fine print on Booking.com. I refused to pay because it was not stated upfront.Second, the apartment given to us was not the one shown in the listing. it was about five buildings away from the advertised location and looked nothing like the pictures. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, making it hard to get any proper rest, and several basic amenities were missing. For example, there was no proper cooking pot, and the only pot provided was without cover and unusable. Likewise, the tap in the kitchen was damaged, to use it, you have to lift it up with one hand while washing with the other. The so-called “breakfast included” was just a few cereal boxes and bread. Honestly, even a simple coffee machine would have made a huge difference, but none was provided. Didn’t even bother stepping out second morning knowing it’s a total waste of time. Overall, this was a misleading listing and a poor experience.

Liked: The concept of the hotel and checking in was good and very straight forward.
Disliked: However our room and experience had much to be desired. The room was cramped for 2 people in what they call a 'deluxe' suite. There was dirt on the walls near the table. The shower and sink were blocked and took a very long time to drain, which left a sewage smell in the small cramped shower room. When the shower room/toilet door is closed you can't bend down enough to brush your teeth or wash your face. There was an ironing board with no iron. The mattress was far too soft and lumpy leaving me with sore back muscles. We were on ground floor and the noise from people above, next door and in the alleyway was unbearable leaving us with very little sleep.
