Lovely beach weekend getaway with...

Liked: Location, finishing touches in common areas, fire pit area/kayak/bike are great features but we did not use, waterfront on river, breakfast, snacks, kitchenette, warm/cozy decor.
Disliked: Exterior lighting was hard to black out of room at night, noise damping between rooms is inadequate, especially with pets, some finish issues/quality (surface wires, magnetic curtain rods slipping, tiny unstable nightstands).

Liked: Our stay was really great. It was a quaint B&B with very cute grounds and a kind staff. It was a short walk to the beach and they supply free chairs/umbrellas/and wagons to roll your things with you which we thought was a great touch. They also had filtered water and ice to fill up our bottles along with tea and coffee available 24/7. Overall I would definitely return.
Disliked: The town itself doesn't have that much to do. It was great to be near the beach and it is close to other cute things to drive to, but I would say you definitely would want a car if you are staying here.

Liked: We stayed in The Duck Island Room. It was clean and comfortable. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The rest of the Inn is well decorated and cared for with a high level of attention given to detail. The grounds are beautiful and have great access to a riverside dock from which you can launch kayaks, which are provided free of charge. Highly recommended and we'll be visiting again!
