Not worth the money and...

Liked: The bath in the room was nice and bed was comfortable. Not far to walk to beach
Disliked: Is no way worth the money. Decor is finished poorly. It’s small in the room. No staff on site so have to deal with reception over phone. Front door slamming all night and all morning. Was a fire on the doorstep as cigarette bin caught fire. Wasn’t dealt with for hours so our room stunk of smoke. Got palmed off with air freshener that did nothing. Paid for late check out but left early coz of the smell of fire

Liked: Great location and really comfy beds. Loved the thoughtful touch of earplugs to block out the morning seagulls - classic Brighton haha!We did have a few issues during the stay, but for the price, it wasn’t too bad - especially with Brighton being such an expensive place to stay. You get what you pay for, I guess, and I’m glad I finally made the trip.
Disliked: Unfortunately, our stay had quite a few issues. The shower only worked when the hand wash tap was turned on - something we had to figure out ourselves after multiple calls to staff, who weren’t able to offer a solution. The toilet was leaking from the moment we arrived and continued to do so throughout our stay, despite being reported. We were told it would be fixed the next day, but no one followed up.The room itself was very small, and the bedside table was broken, so we couldn’t use it. The plug sockets were set awkwardly low into the panelling, which made it difficult to plug in larger items - I had to hold my plug in with my foot while straightening my hair. There was also only one mirror, located in the bathroom, so we had to take turns getting ready.

Liked: Always nice and clean and the rooms have everything you need for a short stay.
Disliked: Upon arrival the drains in the sink/toilet were smelling. We had to keep running water and make sure the bathroom door was shut. You could only turn the TV on and off my going to the TV as the remote didn't turn it on or off. The back of the remote was also missing.Wardrobe mirror very low so hard to see anything full length.
