Liked: Comfortable bed
Disliked: The shower drain trap smelled of stale water, which made the shower:toilet area smell. Two mornings around 9am I went to use the sink and there was no water from the tap or the shower.

Pleasant

Liked: Close to town and close to beach and pier
Disliked: Very hot in the room we stayed in

Basic lodgings, but good value...

Liked: Great location and good value for the money overall. The staff responded quickly to our messages and did what they could to accommodate our requests.
Disliked: The lack of staff can be somewhat inconvenient. It would have been nice to be able to store the bags at the guest house a few hours before check in and after check out.

Very good

Liked: It was my 1st time in Brighton and were there for my birthday celebration with my friends, and the gave me an upgrade to my room. It was nice and comfy room.

Disliked: Extractor fan in bathroom didn't work. Mirror in room was difficult to see in due to location. Kettle had to be plugged in on floor, took 2 days to get extension lead.Not enough hangers or drawers.Not enough toilet rolls.Damp on wallOnly one hook to hang towel on

Firstly we really liked that...

Liked: • It was quiet and we didn’t often see anybody else.•wifi was great. •close to pier. •checking in. •communication.
Disliked: •It was HOT and there was only a small table top fan.•Window latch was broken in the bedroom and also it had no blind/curtain so it was bright and uncomfortable as people could see into the room. • Shower is really small and claustrophobic. •Not as clean as hoped/pictured. •Not worth £100+ a night. •Photos on the website made it look much bigger than it is.

Fantastic room and location

Liked: Fantastic location for everything we needed in Brighton! The room was cosy and the bed was incredibly comfortable.We'd definitely stay again on our next trip, thank you.
Disliked: The windows didn't open, that's all.
