Liked: excellent location. very prime to the main street that's great walking distance and near the little river. room was cozy. bed was comfortable and everything seemed very clean
Disliked: the shower is pretty tiny, and I was extremely disappointed that the pool and hot tub were not available. it looks like it's been a while since they were worked on. also the sliding door that closes off the bathroom just doesn't close very well and isn't the greatest for privacy

Disliked: You could use a mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable. Wasn't awful but it could be better. That is the only thing that crossed our minds that would've made our stay more comfortable.

Liked: Good location, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the self check-in process was simple and efficient
Disliked: The bathroom had an accordion style door that was a little hard to close all the way and wasn't in the best condition, so did not have very much privacy using the restroom

It is a charming alternative...

Liked: I loved the peaceful, woodsy location and rustic charm.
Disliked: It was rather dated. The room could use a power strip next to the bed to charge phones, etc. And it would be nice to have a better arrangement for making coffee (like an electric tea kettle). A mini-fridge and microwave would be awesome. I do realize that the new owner is in the process of updating the units.

Liked: Friendly staff, excellent customer service. The rooms are very comfortable. The location is quiet, and peaceful.
Disliked: Just the shower was hard to maneuver. The water temp fluctuated from cold to hot throughout my bath. Everything else was perfect!!
