Liked: It was close to my event
Disliked: There was no pool as posted. The breakfast was very limited to nothing. There was a huge stinky stain on the carpet.

Adequate for our needs, but...

Liked: Very comfortable bed, room mix up resolved by free upgrade, friendly and helpful staff, room overall was comfortable and decently furnished
Disliked: Room mix up (gave away our room), stained carpets and torn sheets, VERY noisy (hotel is very near the freeway, and our room was right above front desk and breakfast room, with no wall to block sounds- waffle iron beeping at 6 am is an effective, if unwanted, alarm clock). Exercise room, pool and hot tub were all nonfunctional, and for some reason our room had been stocked with coffee packets but no coffee pot.

Liked: Location. Clean. Affordable. The front desk clerk was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and in-room coffee supplies.
Disliked: Construction. No signage to let you know this was the West Valley Inn. I understand they are changing to be a La Quinta, but a little sign in the meantime would be nice; something that a print & copy store could do. The stopper in the bathtub in Room 115 did not work. Had to use a washcloth to keep the tub from draining to have a bath. The fitness center was closed to make room for something for the La Quinta change over. Breakfast was very limited; all I could have was applesauce & coffee. No fresh fruit or yogurt. The waffles looked and smelled amazing, but not on my diet.
