Liked: The place had not been updated for I would say 50 years. Everything had 50 years of dirt on it. The bathroom floor was always covered with water.

Liked: Location and affordability
Disliked: The staff was surly and seemed bothered with questions from guests.No smiles, no welcomes—— it was sad. I’m sure international travelers did not get a good feeling. I was a longtime Vanderbilt YMCA guest. They were ALWAYS amazing and pleasant and helpful.

Liked: The location was fantastic to access the city & close to central park.We enjoyed the pool after a big day seeing the sites.It was very quiet.
Disliked: The room was very small & didn't have a kettle or fridge.
