Liked: The location was convenient
Disliked: I arrived at the hotel at 4:40 a.m. with an older adult, exhausted after a long journey, only to be treated with shocking disrespect by the night staff. Instead of a basic welcome or assistance, I was met with rudeness, unwillingness to help, and complete disregard for customer service.The staff member refused to check us in, bluntly saying they were “finishing their shift” and that they didn’t want to assist us right now. No apology, no empathy — just aggressive tone, unprofessional attitude, and zero willingness to support guests arriving at a difficult hour.I have traveled extensively and never encountered such disrespectful and impolite behavior at a hotel. What should have been a safe and simple check-in turned into an upsetting and uncomfortable confrontation, especially distressing given that I was traveling with an elderly person.

Cheapest in NY

Liked: I got a single room with a semi-private restroom with a view to Central Park. It was the best price I could get for this in Manhattan. I will definitely stay here again. I had a TV and fridge in the room, a towel and a blanket. The Spanish-speaking cleaning ladies were lovely.
Disliked: I would have liked a cheaper price, but that’s NY!

Very good

Liked: No-frills, basic comfort, value for the cost. Clean room and bathrooms (shared bathrooms, was always one available). My deluxe room had a window with a view. Comfy single bed, small fridge, tv, a desk, aircon. Pool and gym available for guests. Best is the access to all that NYC has to offer - walk, subway or bus to everything. Staff are helpful.
Disliked: No coffee/tea-making facilities in room

Liked: Very good Location, high number of bathrooms/showers, access to the pool, luggage storage was useful.
Disliked: Baggage storage was useful but the fact that it closes at 7pm made me have to drag my luggage between 2 different reservations (I was not able to to keep the same room and early check in did not work). So extended luggage storage would have helped me.20$ for a head cap was pretty stiff!The window AC units were barely sufficient on a very hot night.
