Liked: This was the third time we have stayed at West Layton Msnor.

Few issues but resolved by...

Liked: Excellent breakfast cooked to our requests. Fruit and yoghurt really nice. Lovely touch to have home baked sponge and Prosecco on arrival.
Disliked: Room really cold on arrival. We put the mobile heater on but still cold in room and especially in the bathroom. Concierge contacted us in the evening to ask if we wanted another more powerful heater in the room. They put this in the room while we dined out. So when we came back the room was lovely and warm. Would have preferred a menu for the breakfast hot food. Biscuits in the room a bit underwhelming.

Fantastic stay at the beautiful...

Liked: What a beautiful place in a tranquil setting. Every little detail is perfection. We loved everything about our stay. The host was so friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing as well. There is nothing to complain about. We would highly recommend it to anyone who would like a relaxing stay in a stunning manor.

Liked: Lovely tranquil setting. The owners put a lot of effort into every detail to make the stay special: clean, well-kept rooms, home-made cake, and a good breakfast.

Hidden Gem off A66

Liked: Such a warm welcome. Cake and Sherry was a lovely touch after a 5 hour drive.The room was beautiful. Four poster beds,with quality bed linen and superb duvet and pillows.There is a nespresso coffee maker and a milk frother as well as a kettle and silver tea pot.Slept like a baby.Breakfast was 12/10 !! Choice of cereals, yoghurt, and fresh fruit, then you can choose whatever you want as a hot dish. We had the full English. Hot croissants and toast. The hotel is like a mini Downton Abbey. You feel like royalty.Thank you for such wonderful service ,we will be back.

Liked: A very welcoming manor house full of character. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of it! A very comfy bed and large room. It is a very quiet location, about 10 mins from Richmond which is well worth a visit.
