Absolutley amazing.

Liked: Our stay was exceptional at the West arms, the staff went above and beyond and made you feel at home. I would highly recommend staying at the West Arms, the surrounding area is stunning and great for walking.

Liked: Fantastic location fabulous food and friendly helpful hosts/staff. Lots of walks lovely to return to a cosy bar with roaring fire !

A lovely hotel and surroundings...

Liked: A very warm welcome by Mark and Nicky. Very attentive and lovely dinner in the evening and breakfast the following morning. I would have loved to stayed longer to explore the surrounding area, but will definitely keep this hotel and Mark and Nicky in mind for future return visits.
Disliked: Only very minor thing was a poor WiFi connection when in my room, but fine elsewhere in the hotel. Strange because it looked like a WiFi access point was on the wall right outside of my room!

Exceptional

Exceeded all our expectations !

Liked: Dinner was perfect. The Lamb was truly exceptional both in the quality of the meat and the cooking of the lamb- truly stunning- and we have had a lot of lamb!Breakfast was very good too.Would definitely stay at The Porch House again. My wife and I loved it .
Disliked: There was nothing we would change about our stay - and no, we are not related to the owners !!!!

A very nostalgic stay in...

Liked: Breakfast was fine.The location is just wonderful. The Ceiriog valley is a favourite location for us.
