Clean, quiet, cheap and great...

Liked: Very clean, cheap, quiet and great location. Stayed here for the proximity to Accor Stadium. We walked to the ground, although we decided to get a taxi back. Share bathroom. Shower was old but had fantastic water pressure. Our room was facing Parramatta Road and I was shocked to find there was no road noise. Sheets and bedding were crisp and clean. Staff were very friendly. Hotel has lots of different seating areas depending on your needs. Play area for kids. Every day is happy hour 4-6, $5 schooners. For $150 for 2 you can’t go wrong. If you’re used to staying in 4 and 5 star hotels then this is definitely not for you. But if you’re looking for a place to stay that isn’t fancy where you can rock on then you’ve found it. Next time I go to Accor Stadium I will definitely be booking here again.

Disliked: The Smoky room smell, the mushrooms growing in the shared bathroom and the fact that the second day there was no hot water for my showers

Liked: Price, location, great facilities for room.
Disliked: Smell of smoke in rooms, thin pillows and not very warm doona.

The pub itself was immaculate...

Liked: Downstairs bistro, sports bar, pokies and facilities were great.
Disliked: Bathroom facilities were terrible. Wet toilet paper everywhere. Rust and calcium around all the fixtures, hot water wasn’t working.

You want cheap then yes,...

Liked: The staff were lovely, the room clean, the food from the bistro was yummy.
Disliked: The cigarette smell down stairs as it's basically a sports bar and pokies, the reception was the bar, no hairdryer to borrow, no wifi in my room. I know it was a shared bathroom, was prepared for that, but seriously, 1 toilet, 1 shower, 2 sinks in the Ladies between 13 rooms was too low. I've stayed in better appointed youth hostels. I flagged my 3rd night to stay in a fabulous hotel near the airport. I did choose cheap but good grief, this was too much. Again, the staff were lovely and it was clean, so those were the pluses.
