Well located, comfortable hotel with...

Liked: Check in was easy and free parking was available which is always a bonus in Aldeburgh. The room was clean and well appointed the only downside being the heating which was a very hot 22 degrees. We turned it down to a more comfortable 16 degrees but in the morning it was back to 22 degrees again which is far too hot for us in a bedroom. Breakfast was good and varied and the Wentworth breakfast is to be recommended. We didn't have an evening meal but the choice looked good.
Disliked: The only downsides were the emptying of the glass recycling bin at 07:10 in the morning below our bedroom window, that's an operational thing obviously but we haven't heard it at other hotels and the feeling that we'd done something wrong when we were shown to a table for breakfast on day two only for it to be pointed out that 'we'd sat at the wrong table' and that the staff had had to rearrange the seating plan as a result. I thought that kind of behaviour was a thing of the past as it surely shouldn't matter especially as we'd been shown to that particular table in the first place.

Liked: Super but smallish room, really good bathroom, View out to sea ( with free binoculars!) The whole hotel is genuinely classy.
Disliked: Room a bit small.

Liked: Full Englesi breakfast very good including their choice of local suffolk Schnorkers! Old school silver table service, cant beat it can you! Room v modern and functional and nice to have a window to open for harry freshers!!
Disliked: Stairs with the dog and 2 bags but hey ho, overall all good thank you
