Excellent place

Liked: A lovely place. Room was very big, huge bed. Full breakfast served. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant.

Average stay, lack of sleep...

Liked: The hotel and setting are always beautiful. I really like the brasserie's new look.
Disliked: Staff were inexperienced and slow or non existent. There were several tables in the cosy room that were not cleared from previous guests. Staff were far too busy, seemed understaffed. There was not the attention to detail and certainly no finesse that The Wentbridge Hotel has previously delivered. Noise from 2am to 4am which we reported. Came home exhausted rather than rested. Very disappointing.

Beautiful wedding venue. Friendly staff...

Liked: Beautiful setting for a wedding. Lovely rooms. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff.
Disliked: For the price of the rooms would have expected the treat basket to have been free.Alarm clock in the room woke us at 7:30am. We hadn’t checked this but something the house keeping staff may want to add to their checks that the alarm clock is reset / turned off.

Nice Hotel for a one...

Liked: Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice- the location and type of nice hotel/restaurant suited purpose from returning from a break in the Peak District
Disliked: Drinks were expensive but I guess in keeping with price for the stay, accommodation and food. Did experience some out of date yoghurts (over 5 days)that we brought to the attention of one of the serving staff- as much to ensure anyone with a delicate stomach/allergies or not a hardened stomach didn’t have one

Very comfortable, great breakfasts served...

Liked: By far the best place i stayed at during my 3 weeks in England. was happy it was in my first week as i needed to feel comfortable after a long flight form Australia. Very comfortable, quiet and roomy.
Disliked: parking was a problem on weekends when the hotel was being used for weddings. I feel there should have been designated parking for long stay guests.

Highly recommend.

Liked: Spotlessly clean and well decorated throughout. Room very spacious and my goodness, we both woke up this morning raving about how comfortable the beds were . A blissful night of rest.
Disliked: Lovely spot. No negatives.
