Wensum Valley Hotel Golf and Country Club

Myself and my boyfriend stayed for 1 night whilst attending Sundown festival at the Norfolk Showground. £85 for a double room including breakfast. Good selection of breakfast, juices, cereals, yougurt, fruit and menu with cooked breakfast & toast etc. Very spacious room, large double bed was more of a King/Queen than a double! Very clean and equipped with tea/coffee & kettle. Also there was an iron with board in the lobby which was handy for guests. Free on-site parking and access to the Club's facilities including swimming & gym with use of towels. Would definitely stay again.

Liked: Lovely location, and staff. Breakfast was perfect good choices and a lovely view.
Disliked: WiFi was challenging. Was a work trip - I had serious challenges logging on, still catching up on work as a result.

Disliked: Public areas a bit tired. The bar area was dull and the lounge and bar were not very comfortable to sit in. The terrace was large but unimaginatively presented.

Liked: Good size room for price. Staff were nice. Location good.
Disliked: Walls are paper thin, literally can clearly hear full conversations from the room next door.Couldn't get to use the pool, was busy throughout the day.

Disliked: Our room was bland and extremely hot .There was a fan but was useless. No usb ports and telly was more like a tablet , Expected more to be honest I was disappointed.
