Had a great time: the...

Liked: Clean, location near Denny where we wanted to be. Equestrian element on site. Able to BBQ.Grass was nicely cut so kids could run around.We were blessed with good weather.
Disliked: The TV received news notifications about the Iran/Israeli conflict during the night which woke us up. On the third night I unplugged the TV to put a stop to this.The shower head was not secure and fell/twisted down under gravity making the shower a very poor experience. (No bath)The play area no longer had the ‘bouncing pillow’ that the children had previously loved.We used portable BBQs which was fine on the flags provided. However it would have a much better experience if the stone surface was raised on bricks so we weren’t cooking kneeling on the grass.Also during our stay on our last day: we saw another lodge access a proper BBQ from a store shed: we didn’t know this was an option.No coffee maker/cafetière provided.

Super clean and cozy lodge

Liked: Superb accomodation which exceeded our expectations! The whole lodge was super clean and cozy. There was everything we needed for our stay - tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, pots, pans, plates... Beds were very comfortable. Horses in the back yard were a nice bonus

With a little upgrading it...

Liked: First impressions were good - Instructions were clear and access was easy. On entry it all looked very nice. Living area was good with good quality settees and a TV, table and chairs. There was a microwave which we used and a dishwasher which we didn't use
Disliked: There were no instructions for the cooker and we struggled to get it working. The shower looked good but water temperature not consistent. The beds were poor quality and were very noisy when even moving only a little and had no support, so none of us slept well and the double one had very little room to get around it.

Lovely place for a family...

Liked: Beautiful grounds and scenery. Loved seeing all of the horses on the property and John and the fishery was lovely

Short but sweet, comfortable, and...

Liked: Location very handy and lodge comfortable. High level of cleanliness throughout and facilities all catered for. We had two children with us and they had a great time at the park too!
Disliked: Maybe some condiments to put on the bread that was very kindly left for toast in the morning, but that's being really picky. Everything was great!

A nice cosy cabin but...

Liked: nice veranda and outlook. Big well equipped play area, nice gardens and drive, plenty of parking
Disliked: Furniture was tired. Leather sofas not very comfortable, lots of additional cushions which you had to remove to fit 2 people on it and then they had roll together. Beds were noisy when you turned over. Very little space between the double bed and wall. No lock on bathroom door and bathroom window dropped making it tricky to close as you had to lift it too.

Perfect for families.

Liked: Lodge was beautifully decorated and very clean! Play park right next to our lodge for our little one to run around too.

Very comfortable.

Liked: Lovely peaceful location in the country. Spacious, well appointed cottage.
Disliked: The beds were getting a bit tired and the electrical switches were in strange places.
