Perfect hotel in Westminster for...

Liked: The location is great for exploring the London’s highlights! It’s calm residential area with a nearby park, close to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Buckingham palace. We liked the nice designed clean rooms equipped with a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, complimentary bottles of water, a kettle for tea and coffee, a hairdryer, an iron and enough space for the luggage. The breakfast was delicious and served in an elegant atmosphere. The personnel was friendly and helpful especially team from the reception desk who have arranged us a dinner at their own Indian restaurant which I highly recommend and also for finding and keeping a medical device that I left accidentally. We will book this hotel again on our next visit to London!

Liked: Great value for money in a very quiet, yet central location. Nice Indian restaurant.
Disliked: Bathroom in my room looked very clean, but did smell considerably.

Disliked: Tried to get my 13 year old his own room. Booked it online, woman at reception told me it was illegal for a boy to have his own room. Wouldn’t let me have both rooms in my name. Even though I paid for them.

Nice hotel in good location

Liked: Room location was good, very clean. Should have had 2 hand towels in the bathroom , not one. Needed a towel rail for the hand towels. Security not great, French door didn’t secure at base and didn’t lock off at top!

Liked: The room was spacious and the reception staff were polite and gave me an umbrella when the weather changed.
Disliked: - The took a pre-authorisation from my card before attending and 5 days later it's still pending.- Room was satisfactory but definitely not 4* standard. I've stayed in cleaner and comfier 3* hotel but perhaps this is a London standard.- The area unfortunately had a lot of 'vagrant' types hanging around local streets at night. - The breakfast was poor. The service was very slow. There were 4 people (inc. us) in the entire place and there were 3 dirty tables. I ordered two fried eggs. They took nearly 20 minutes and I had finished eating by the time they were served (they were over done). I had to ask for milk to be replenished. Having worked at 5* hotels doing the breakfast shift, it was just poor. I wouldn't recommend and I wouldn't stay again.
