Good location and beautiful place

Liked: Good location for catching a ferry especially early morning. The hotel is a nice and old yet beautiful. We liked it very much. We checked in late night but instructions were clear how to check in. And the staff were responsible outside of business hours to answer questions via booking.comThe night we stayed, was a quiet and could sleep well.

Superb

Liked: The rooms were beautiful. Loved the stylish furniture and claw foot bath . Great there was a mini bar and snacks available and good variety of tea/ coffee.

The Wellesley is Wellington's best...

Old worldly charm

Disliked: Dated in places and noise from apartments above was evident

Liked: The rooms and bathrooms are a high standard, however there is loud noise when you flush the toilet.The windows of the building are very old and drafty you can hear the traffic.There is no breakfast available scones or cake only however there is an additional little place sells bacon rolls which are tasty.No maned reception after 5pm lock box which worked OK but arriving after 6pm and dark with no person on duty left it more difficult to find dinner taxi etc.
