Good location and cosy -...

Liked: Great location for walking into Downtown Orlando (DTO) and Lake Eola park, as well as another nice lake situated just across. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short 2-night stay.Despite being key-less and reception-less, access to the room was smooth and easy. The room was full of character, as too was the lounge/communal area and indeed the whole property.The television with Roku streaming service (wide range of apps) was very useful for chilling and relaxing in the evenings.
Disliked: Windows could do with cleaning outside. Also, the space directly outside the windows has been used for lots of storage (umbrellas, a shed etc - not shown in the photis on Booking.com) so if you open the curtains/blinds to let light in the view is very cluttered & obstructed.We weren't too fond of some rather large vents in the floor and a gap under the main door, that it felt like could potentially allow insects etc into the room.

Liked: The staff were really lovely and helpful. The property itself was gorgeous and full of character. It was fairly easy to access our room.
Disliked: Unfortunately we were disappointed in the quality of the rooms. The room we stayed in had black mould on windows and on bathroom ceiling, we reported and they covered it. The room was extremely dark most of the time with low lighting. The bathroom door did not shut until we took off the hooked mirror, and the bathroom door did not have a lock. There was heaps of bugs in the room and we would wake up with bug bites with no where to plug in the bug light provided.While we were at our stay there was an evacuation for a gas leak and did not have hot water for a day, it is apparent they do patch up jobs and do not properly fix stuff. I wish we could’ve loved this place but it was not up to standard. I know that this has been mentioned plenty of times but the speaker right outside our bedroom window was ridiculous. I know Sonder has no control over it apparently but even with noise cancelling ear buds, we could still hear it and the bass was vibrating the bed.
