Easy, great staff and food

Liked: Breakfast and service very good, nice and quiet, bar and bar food very good.
Disliked: Bathroom needed a good clean around tiles and akirtings

Amazing place with the best...

Liked: Location is excellent, the staff are very friendly, the cooked breakfast was very tasty, and the rooms are exceptionally clean, comfortable with plush decor even in the standard dog friendly rooms, all that added to a most peaceful nights sleep , thank you Wellbeck Manor will definitely be returning for our third visit !

Superb place to stay for...

Liked: Delicious breakfast, friendly helpful staff and comfortable bedroom. Lovely location.

Full of pleasant surprise and more than served its purpose and went above and beyond.

Liked: Room only - electricity wasn't working on arrival in our room. The Staff didn't hesitate to move us to another room. The other room happened to be a lovely upgrade to a family suite. My daughters were over the moon and want to stay again! Nothing wrong with the first room - from what I saw in the dark! Lovely courtyard room in nice setting.
Disliked: Arriving in thick fog wasn't fun but this is no reflection on the hotel whatsoever. Would book again and stay longer. Only stayed for one night.

Black mould damp on the walls carpet filthy never stay here again

Disliked: Black mould in the bathroom damp on the walls used tea bag in the cup, TV not working carpet absolutely the dirtiest Ive ever soon..the single room was very small The owner said I planted the tea bag in the cup. Mentioned about the TV was told no one can fix it mentioned about the black mould was told its an old building not good enough not its a health concern .no help no empathy was told by the manager to leave if I wanted to .. unbelievable this is the attitude.. all this for 117 per night and no breakfast no bar food available never stay here again

Idilic location, best team of hoteliers and well worth a visit.

Liked: The scenery and views are incredible, the team representing the hotel are the best I have had the privilege to meet and I stay in LOTS of hotels through my work. The courtyard room we stayed in was a lovely little room and I imagine much better in the summer. The golf course is a lovely touch and although it was wet and on temporary greens I think it would be brilliant in the summer.
Disliked: A few hanging cobwebs from the ceiling and a musty damp smell in the courtyard room especially in the bathroom, perhaps a plug in freshener and dehumidifier may solve this. If coming back at night the parking area and walkways are not lit sufficiently or signposted, where there is lighting it goes off too quick so I had to use my phone torch
