Liked: Beautiful setting, relaxing atmosphere, helpful attentive staff and good food.We were allowed to take the dog into the bar area to eat.

Disliked: The double bed was just a standard size and not big enough.Service at breakfast wasn’t very good. Just a basic breakfast menus.No fresh fruit.The toast was burnt.We had to continually ask for things like jam, marmalade.No spoons on the table. No sugar.

Disliked: We came with. My daughter Emma degg who booked a family room when she was shown to room It was a double room not double bed and single bed family room the child there daughter is 10 years there was no offer to change rooms granddaughter had to share double bedroom and bed with her mom and dad and she had paid for family room

Beautiful friendly retreat

Liked: Had a very quick stay here arriving in the evening and leaving the next morning but wish we stayed longer. The staff, receptionist/bartender and cleaning staff were amazing and friendly and professional, the downstairs common rooms were beautiful and the bar and view off was really nice. We had sun so that helped :) We stayed upstairs in corn something room which was a big room with windows on both sides and very comfortable bed but views were mostly of the car park area but still had a view. Would recommend for anyone really. I know they do weddings so maybe call ahead in case that impacts the common spaces.
Disliked: The wifi was a little spotty the night we checked in but fine in the morning not a big deal.
