Liked: My room (20) in the attic had a fascinating view over the distant Thames Estuary, though most rooms wouldn't have this. The bed and room were clean and comfortable. The price was low - okay, the bannister knobs need a coat of paint, etc, but this did not make me wish I'd paid more to go elsewhere. It was quiet during the night (advantage of an attic room perhaps).
Disliked: The 'wet room' had an eccentric layout; you had to walk thru the shower area to get to the toilet ... so if you take a shower then a little later go to the toilet, you may end up with wet socks! Still, I would pick this room again, as this little problem was (for me) more than made up for by the view from the attic window.There is private parking, but only for 3 cars in a 20-room hotel, so you may not get a space. For the 2nd night I had to park on the street at the bottom of the street the hotel was on; this was only a minor problem; this was in mid-May. I worry that parking might be more difficult at the peak of the holiday season.
