Liked: EVERYTHING!! Location is outstanding! Accomodation is quirky but so tasteful .The hosts Sam and Jo were charming and super helpful.Breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: NOTHING!

Liked: Good parking and electric charging, super helpful staff with recommendations of what to do each day, delicious breakfast and dinner, comfortable room, super comfy bed, very hot powerful shower, dog friendly, stunning location!
Disliked: Our room wasn’t cleaned one day when requested but it didn’t take away from our lovely stay

Lovely Dartmoor oasis

Liked: The building is a beautiful long house, clearly lovingly restored , in extensive lush gardens , well off the beaten track so very peaceful If it hadn’t been cloudy the night sky would have been amazing There was a lovely sitting room area with fire to relax by, as well as an honesty bar next door. The rooms were quirky and spacious and very comfortable with excellent hot showers Sam and Jo were really welcoming and very helpfulWent to the Nobody Inn a 10 min drive away, which was fantastic , cozy Devon pub with great food (ignore sat nav, go the longer way back down the B road then up the main road to the pub, it’s small but takes a bus unlike the quickest route that we barely squeezed through Will definitely return and would highly recommend for anyone who wants a Dartmoor base or just a lovely unwind

A relaxing rustic old farmhouse...

Liked: Sam and Jo couldn't have been more welcoming to their lovely home. We had a very relaxed stay at Weeke Barton where the facilities were superb. The house is very rustic with low ceilings and with spacious comfortable rooms. The bed was huge and the bathroom modern and clean. The 'honesty' bar was a nice touch and there was a relaxing fire to sit in front of every night. Sam had a wealth of knowledge about the local area and was always willing to share. Breakfast was lovely with good choices on the menu. We would be happy to return in the future. Thanks again to Sam and Jo for making us feel welcome.
