The staff are so fantastic...

Liked: The proximity to Lake Alster and St Georg. Very close to Hbf. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast was fantastic!
Disliked: Climbing up 6 flights of stairs to my room .

Very Misleading

Disliked: I booked what I thought was a nice safe hotel with a lovely garden and lobby and staff onsite as in the pictures on Booking.com. However when I checked in I was sent to a bleak cold building with no facilities or staff across the road. Scary place

Liked: I received an automatic message on booking before my stay with information about breakfast (20 euros), the menu, and opening hours — but it didn’t mention that check-in happens at a different address, not the one listed on Booking. I recommend adding this to the message to avoid confusion.Also, the breakfast is actually 21 euros, not 20 as stated in the message — perhaps it’s time to update it.The breakfast itself was fine; nothing special, but I really appreciated the wide selection of tea — that was a highlight!The room was okay, but a bit overpriced considering the size and the quality of the furniture and bathroom appliances.To sum up: not great, not terrible — just an average hotel.
