It's historic. I get it....

Liked: The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Parking. Was told I would be towed. No bedside table. Was told to open window if too hot. Too noisy. A fan would help. Noisy doors closing, fixable. Light from over door window disturbing.

Stay elsewhere! Not worth the...

Liked: Downstairs bar and restaurant looked ok. Money had been spent here and not elsewhere.
Disliked: Not sure where to start…. Booked via booking.com and asked to pay upfront on check in….. got to the room and there were significant issues. Disappointing as there were far cheaper places to stay in Flagststaff. 1) exceedingly limited parking2) we booked standard room…. A sardine can would be larger. We had two lots of luggage as we were on a road trip… no place to store anything. We would have tripped over cases and each other for the two nights we had booked. Just not relaxingMetal army style bed with a frame scratched to bits pushed into the corner of the room … the practicalities of a toilet trip in the night! 3) bathroom the size of a matchbox4) exceptionally dated bathroom But 70’s not 1890’s… I’d have expected sympathetically restored for the price. 5) badly chipped bathroom sink6) grubby looking shower 7) poor quality towels 8) no plug in sink9) something in sink drain somebody else had left…. That was the final straw husband went downstairs to say this probably isn’t for us outlining the issues above. Guy at reception accepted this and said he’d sort a refund. 4 weeks later, numerous phone calls and unreturned calls from management and we’re still awaiting this refund. We’re now resorting to going via credit card company and Booking.com to resolve I get the feeling this is a well rehearsed routine. Also we booked and then received the email saying the place is noisy with no refunds. This wouldn’t have been an issue for us and we were looking forward to partying. However it struck me as being too late once you’d booked!I’m English…. We’re uncomfortable complaining and leaving poor reviews by nature but in this occasion feel compelled to do so.

Liked: The location is fantastic, and the hotel itself is interesting
Disliked: They did not renovate anything!! It was very old to the point that everything was falling down, like door knobs, and there were holes in the walls. The wallpapers were falling down. The bathtub was rusted. The only option was a bathtub (no shower), and I dont think they are aware of many diseases like UTI. Couches were old and dirty. To add to all that, the room only had limited light and was super dusty. The bed was not comfortable, and their comforter was a two sheet between an old fuzzy blanket, which I wasn't sure it washed properly or not.

Liked: Beds were small room small and bathroom super super small if I was a tall large person there is no way I would fit in the bathroom comfortably
