Weald of Kent Golf Course and Hotel

Very good

Liked: Very good value and included a great breakfast. Will certainly use again when we need to stay in Kent. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Air conditioning worked well too.
Disliked: Would have liked a fridge in the room and plenty of room for a small sofa or another easy chair. Mostly clean but there was dust around the TV. Bathroom OK but not many places for towels or to put toiletries. Would have liked a drench shower head.

A useful place to stay...

Liked: Although there was a private function and we were notified before our stay that the restaurant would be closed, the very helpful reception lady advised that they would be able to provide food. Staff here were all excellent and very friendly. The surroundings were lovely and we were able to eat outside.There was a prom going on and although our room was opposite the venue for this we only heard a small amount of noise, and only early on - don't let this put you off staying here, it is an ideal place if you are going on to Folkestone.
Disliked: Food was only ok. And unfortunately, like other visitors, we found the water pressure for the shower (we were in the annexe building) was quite inadequate.. The room and the entire annexe building also smelt a little musty.

Very good

Liked: It's a value for money and quiet location, really peaceful. The only issue is you must check in first but the actual hotel rooms are separate from Reception. Don't carry luggage to Reception.
Disliked: The lack of pre warning re: distance to reception and the actual hotel rooms. I carried luggage unnecessarily. Future guests should be advised to walk in minus luggage when checking in. It's a golf course, so inevitably I heard workers on the green c 7am

Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Liked: Lovely clean room, good facilities.
Disliked: Staff not particularly helpful, nobody on reception on arrival.

Disliked: No bedside light. A USB socket would be helpful.
