Disliked: Dated , could do with updating of furnishings, even simple things like the rubbish bin in the bathroom being rusty makes it feel neglected.

Liked: Close to local township and comfortable bed. Netflix in room. Good visual break from the road at ground level. Room utensils.
Disliked: Felt like it was in transition, damaged walls and paintwork, crossed over technology like card for power but code to enter room. No table, two chairs at desk for eating. Ants were in our room by morning all over the benchs, not near our food or drinks thou? Broken jet in spa bath.I have stayed at quite a few places and it was quite a let down on what we expected, pictures dont match what was provided, we made the best of it how we could but left early due to comfortability in room. Weird sealed window by spa.

Fantastic overnight stay!

Liked: The receptionist was lovely and inviting. The room was exceptionally clean, loved the big spa bath after a very long day of driving. Had a fantastic sleep in a very comfortable bed. What a perfect location for a stop from being up North before heading back through Auckland the following day. Absolutely highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy overnight stop. Easy to find and very easy parking.
