Good hotel

Liked: Nice welcome easy check in Facilities ok everything was there bed comfortable . Breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: Facilities were a bit dated

Liked: It was cheap and available at short notice.
Disliked: Location, state of hotel, state of room, facilities, noise of other people staying there. Dirty cups and terrible mattress.

Liked: I was happy with the fact that it was near enough to the lake district. The hotel was i think the only one available due to a couple of local events. The staff were fine, they seemed nice.
Disliked: The room was tiny, the shower dribbled out water, the decor was dated, the bed very small and itchy, parking was annoying, lots of unsigned one way streets, the room stank of old cigarette smoke, the taps turned themselves off every 2 seconds making washing a chore, but the worst aspect was the noise! The music 2 floors below was so loud I could hear every note and word. Sleep was impossible until midnight and I had an early start.

It's a place to sleep...

Liked: The location was perfect we have family in Workington so wanted to be close enough to pop back if we needed something. The room was massive and we had a corner room so both sides view.
Disliked: The entire building is very dated and grimey the roof had ceiling tiles half broken in the bathroom and everywhere just needed a decent bit of money spent on it. The floors creak the whole way through the room and corridors. It was a massive room and bathroom but with a shower curtain instead of something easy to make sure is clean between guests
