The best small hotel I’ve...

Liked: The location on the River Waveney was idyllic; we watched kingfishers flash by, an otter at play, swans and their signets sail by, along with travelling boats and that was all while eating breakfast on the terrace! Lovely spacious room up in the attics with a wonderful countryside view. Staff were helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking. Great food.

Very relaxing stay, staff are...

Liked: Lovely room very comfortable. Delightful dining area with riverside views, dining outside is possible. Food was excellent.
Disliked: Nothing

Exceptional

Liked: This was a last minute booking, but everything was handled perfectly, including the responses to questions I had before I arrived. The location is next to river as is the dining area and relaxing area. I was able to order items from my table via a QR code. The location was clean throughout, breakfast delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. If in the area in the future will definitely book again.

Superb

Liked: Location was great, alongside the river, a lovely terrace outside the fully glazed dining room, very relaxing. Evening meal was very good, fresh ingredients and generous portions. The waiting on staff were really excellent, helpful and friendly. Bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and functional. Parking on site was good.
Disliked: Can’t really think of anything that could have been better particularly for the overnight charge. Perhaps a little less prepacked breakfast items but the cooked breakfast was top notch.

Liked: Food is always excellent.Cleanliness always supered.Staff always courteous.And you cannot beat the location, anywhere in Beccles.
Disliked: Sorry to say the Room was disappointing this time and we won't book that particular room again. (Room 10) I do believe you should mention upon booking or on the description about the low beams. And more importantly the bathroom facilities.. i.e. you mention no shower, but expecting to be able to comfortably use the bath shower attachment ...... this was not possible so ''no stand up shower'' perhaps, and / or photo.This was very unhelpful and not up to your normal standard.
