Disliked: Rooms smelt of smoke and windows were open, I assume to air out. Bathroom smelt a bit moldy.

A very nice value for...

Liked: A nice peaceful place, staff are layed back, but with the quality of everything, hard to complain. Nice pool, seating area, adjacent to big organic shop with fresh produce, and 20 minute walk to beach.
Disliked: coffee machine didnt work, staff not always at reception

Very good

Liked: We've stayed here 3 times, the location is excellent! 10 mins from LAX, 5 mins to Manhattan Beach pier via car. The rooms are big and clean, newly renovated. Loads of free parking. Plenty of food options nearby. Light breakfast provided in the morning.
Disliked: The base of the bed is metal and makes a really loud bang every time you approach the bed.

Disappointing

Liked: The location and the staff members.
Disliked: The towels were stained, the sliding door to the patio was broken, there was no blinds for the window next to the tub, the ac unit was really loud, there was what looked like pubic hair and other stuff in the shower

Liked: Extra-large room with large jacuzzi for a great price! And, free breakfast to boot! Excellent value!
Disliked: Room floor needed to be mopped better to remove exceptionally fine sand due to beach proximity.
