Liked: Comfy room with excellent shower. Aircon & coffee machine in the room. Located opposite Rahway railway station, so very convenient. Shops & takeaways nearby.
Disliked: Room needed a fridge to keep drinks cold. For the price of this hotel, you could have given a bottle of water each day instead of leaving it in the room with a $2.50 charge for non members of your loyalty scheme.

Poor
Liked: Location OK, some staff friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Dated decor, facilities in need of upgrade. It was the worst hotel breakfast I have eaten in 20+ years. Very limited choice, poor quality, and hot choices dried out.Not a 4* service

Good location, medium quality.
Liked: Location, and also the bathroom was very nice and spacy. The staff at the reception were polite and professional.
Disliked: The furniture in the room was outdated, especially for a 4-star hotel. It needs refurbishing. The price was too high i.e. it is overpriced. The breakfast is also not worth the money.

Overt and Gleeful Racism
Liked: The day personnel we're excellent, very professional and helpful. They let me know what were the resources in the immediate area and what the parking restrictions would be. They did a great job.
Disliked: There was an overnight staff member who harassed me to no end. He followed me around, question if I belong there, and repeatedly asked me to show him my identification and room key card. Clearly, he was a racist and did not appreciate me being a black male reading and enjoying time alone in the lobby area. He questioned me every time I entered and exited the hotel. I was incensed. I wanted to write a letter to the CEO of your company, but I chalked it up to "Rahway hospitality". Restaurants I visited in downtown Rahway featured the same unwelcoming behavior. I have extensive business in the Rahway area upcoming, and the hotel's location is ideal for me. But I can't see spending another dime nor another second at this racist facility.
