Disappointing. Make sure you read...

Liked: When I arrived there was no one inside the buildings. I sent a message early informing them that I would arrive late. I called the number linked to Booking.com when I arrived.I left a message but no response. I ended up having to find another place to stay last minute.
Disliked: When I called the next morning. The owner said she never received a call. She was unsure how to fix the situation and stated that she also had to pay to have her place shown on Booking.com I felt the conversation was futile and I ended up not only not being able to stay there but I decided instead of arguing with the owner I would just lose my money that I had already spent.

With a little attention to...

Liked: The breakfast was well-prepared and presented. I liked that the order was taken the night before, so everything flowed more smoothly. There was enough variety to satisfy both my wife and I. It was nice to have choices about time, too. The staff members were very friendly.
Disliked: We visited this property previously, when it was under different ownership. The facility is still very nice, and has been expanded with the new owner (winery, cafe), but the attention to detail has slipped. The rooms weren't as clean as we had come to expect, there were multiple light bulbs out of order throughout the building, and the snack room hadn't been adequately restocked.

Cranberry mimosas, an awesome antique wagon, and really nice and accommodating staff!

Liked: The inn is calm and quaint. Beautiful scenery. Lots of collectibles. Breakfast was outstanding. We arrived later than expected from DC and the inn staff was kind enough to let us order a pizza which was excellent.
Disliked: I enjoyed everything about this inn and I have stayed at well over a hundred. Its definitely not modern but rustic, very clean and comfortable! The grounds are beautiful.
